MARUEIDO JAPAN

This gallery opened in Akasaka, Tokyo in April 2018 as a contemporary division of Marueido, a long-established art dealer dealing with modern Japanese art. Facing Roppongi-dori, Tokyo, there is a white cube with abundant natural light and a quiet Japanese space in the back. In the past, we have exhibited many site-specific installations that take advantage of the characteristics of the space. While actively participating in art fairs in Japan and overseas with artists from a wide range of genres on the themes of materials, time, light, and sociality, we are planning and transmitting our own exhibitions based in Tokyo.
