ARTCOURT Gallery
Introducing "concrete", which has been a driving force in postwar Japanese art since its establishment in 2003, and excellent contemporary art with unique concepts, materials, and techniques, from artists who have established international acclaim to young talented artists. A white cube with a ceiling height of 8 m in Osaka, a viewing room in Sukiya-zukuri (designed by Koji Fujii, registered tangible cultural property) in Kyoto, special exhibitions that make use of each space, and sales of works to museums and foundations in Japan and overseas. We aim to become a base for transmitting contemporary Japanese art through a multifaceted approach, such as setting up proposals for public art and publishing collections of works. Major writers include Hitoshi Nomura, Saburo Murakami, Norio Imai, Yo Akiyama, Shioko Fukumoto, Genta Ishizuka, Chihiro Yoshioka, Yasuka Botan, and Jauma Amigo.
