Liliana ZEIC (PISKORSKA)
INTRODUCTION
Strong sisters told the brothers
Confronting various harsh realities in contemporary Poland, the film visualizes heterosexual privilege from both theoretical and practical perspectives. Excerpts from statements by homosexuals, lesbians are collaged and read alongside scenes of serene and beautiful nature. While revealing how patriarchal oppression has continued, the film encourages us to reconsider our identities and calls for compassion and solidarity with others.
